Attending the face-to-face meeting of Asia Pacific Joint Group-APJG held in the People's Republic of China, Macao (10 May 2023)

Myanmar Delegation was attended the face-to-face meeting of Asia Pacific Joint Group - APJG which was held in the People's Republic of China, Macao from 2023, May 10th. Myanmar delegation was led by Daw Than Than Swe, Chairman of AML/CFT Working Group, Governor of Central Bank of Myanmar and also included Police Brigadier General Myo Thu Soe, Head of Myanmar Financial Intelligence Unit and Police Lieutenant Colonel Myint Soe, member of Myanmar Financial Intelligence Unit.

The meeting was held on 10-5-2023 from 1000 to 1600 at the Royal Resident Hotel, Macao. In that meeting, Mr. Mike Stone, Director of New Zealand Anti-Money Laundering and counter-terrorist financing department said Myanmar has 4 Largely Address, 8 Partly Address, 3 Not Address among 15 action plans to be implemented by Myanmar and thank you for development and send in time of Myanmar Progress Report.

Myanmar Head of Delegation respond and summarized the Myanmar's progress report, including the political commitment of high-ranking officials in that meeting. And also explained about the questions asked by the assessors about the Immediate Outcome (IO) measures according to the sector of Myanmar Progress Report.
