Attending the face-to-face meeting of Asia Pacific Joint Group-APJG held in India, Mumbai (7 Sept 2023)

Myanmar Delegation was attended the face-to-face meeting of Asia Pacific Joint Group - APJG which was held in India, Mumbai from 2023, September 7th. Myanmar delegation was led by U Kyaw Win Thein, Vice Chairman of AML/CFT Working Group, Member of Anti-Corruption Commission and also included Police Brigadier General Myo Thu Soe, Head of Myanmar Financial Intelligence Unit and Police Lieutenant Colonel Myint Soe, member of Myanmar Financial Intelligence Unit.

The meeting was held on 7-9-2023 from 1030 to 1500 at the Trident Hotel, Mumbai and 8 representatives led by U Kyaw Win Thein were from Myanmar side and representatives of Financial Action Task Force-FATF and secretariat office of Asia Pacific Group-APG, Co Chairs of Asia Pacific Joint Group-APJG, Assessors from Australia, New Zealand, China, India, Japan, China (Macao) and the United States were from APJG side attended the meeting. In that meeting, U Kyaw Win Thein, member of Anti-Corruption Commission and Myanmar Head of Delegation summarized the Myanmar's progress report, including the political commitment of high-ranking officials in that meeting.

Myanmar Delegation explained about the questions asked by the assessors about the Immediate Outcome (IO) measures according to the sector of Myanmar Progress Report.
